HEALTH, SAFETY, ENVIRONMENTAL & QUALITY POLICY

Sonic Rail Services Ltd recognises that the provision of a consistently high standard of service is the keystone to our success, reputation and the satisfaction of our customers. As such we operate an Integrated Management System (IMS) to meet EN ISO 9001:2000, EN ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS18001:1999 requirements.  Defined responsibilities, ensuring availability of adequate and competent resources ensures the effective implementation of the IMS throughout the organisation.

To facilitate continual improvement measurable objectives and targets shall be set at relevant functions and levels of the organisation. We will ensure that this policy is communicated and available to all relevant stakeholders as appropriate.

The IMS shall be reviewed for effectiveness and suitability at least annually as part of the management review process.  Appropriate corrective and preventive action shall be taken to achieve the desired results.
Sonic Rail Services Ltd are committed to:

  • Identifying, assessing and controlling HSEQ risks arising from our activities, products and services
  • Compliance with identified legal and other requirements including customer requirements, industry standards and best practice to minimise risk and to prevent pollution.
  • Ensuring personnel acting for, or on behalf of the company are competent to fulfil their duties to all relevant standards
  • Co-operation and co-ordination with relevant stakeholders, including clients, designers, contractors and enforcing authorities etc
  • Evaluating compliance with identified legal and other requirements through pro-active and re-active monitoring and measuring activities
  • Effective analysis of data arising from monitoring and measuring activities to ensure customer satisfaction and conformity with identified requirements and to measure performance and the effectiveness of the IMS.
  • Meeting customer needs and expectations through resourcefulness and innovativation.

The achievement of a high quality and consistency of service calls for a systematic and disciplined approach by all employees in all activities associated with legal, customer and other requirements.

Above all, our customers are the very purpose of our business and that our employees and maintained standards of work are the means to satisfy those customers and regulatory requirements.

This statement represents my commitment on behalf of the company:
